I consider myself most fortunate. Your email notifications of another writing installment arrives overnight to me here in Australia. Just in time for coffee, early morning ponderings and a stimulating read. It makes it onto my list of life’s little pleasures. Thanks for writing.
Nothing like a new pup 🐶 to help with the temporary housing. They are SO adaptable and often lead and show us the way. Hoping you can enjoy a hot cup of 🫖 tea soon. Oh, and the puppy breath! Can we bottle it? Gentle care to you all during a season that perhaps one day might feel as if you were only a visitor to? One can hope. 💜🐾
I enjoyed reading what your life looks like in the temporary setting and with a puppy. I totally could relate to the puppy life as we got a mini dachshund in May. Sooooo much work but so much fun! Best decision. Hopefully like will get back to a good normal before long. A person needs to have Home be a safe, peaceful, reliable haven. Hopefully Home returns to you soon 💗🙏😘
ah the puppy days ❣️ brings back nostalgia for me. they were hard, but for me, thankfully they were short. they grow fast and furious, but will always remain our little ones. enjoy the days—even the messiness! 🔆
I read this the other day…and decided to “think on things “ rather than to quickly reply as other times. I mused upon the word temporary , at the great old age thst I am now 😊 I feel everything is temporary! Our parents were temporary, all the dogs over 80 years were temporary, everything given to us on loan . 💞
Thank you Amy , I greatly enjoyed the muse . Enjoy the sweets baby dog , he will keep you on your toes I’m sure .
I cherish the line you wrote which says -
“ There is the life that arrives unbidden but there is also the life you choose”
My wish for you is that you are out of your temporary home as quickly as is possible.... As always, your writing is exquisite in its clarity & cadence & I treasure seeing your name in my inbox!

Thank you for this gorgeous note. xo
Obsessed dog lover here. Enjoy the stabby puppy teeth and the soft puppy ears. The puppy year is hard, but dogs are the best.
They so are.
